Do men and woman grieve differently? The cultural stereotypes of woman and men in grief are inaccurate. Generally, they portray women as being expressive with their grief while men are the "strong and silent" type. The reality is that some men need and want to express and share their feelings, while some women prefer to do their grief work in a more low-key way. Grieve in ways that are most helpful and healing for you. ROBERT D.

DIAKOS 'MANNO' 12-31-69 6-22-94 We were doing our family tree and we couldn't help but cry. One branch was broken that made our tree just die. Trying to go on like most families do. We taped and taped that branch hoping to mend you. Losing you was like a bad dream that lasts too long.

When your fighting and you just don't seem strong. When you keep on running and there's no way out. When you want to yell and there's no sound in your shout. The guitar strings became brittle, no music on your fiddle. CD's are all dusty, amps became all rusty.

Fragments left here and there hoping you would just appear. All the heartache made our tree grow strong. Roots made from love last a life time long. It would be grand if you could once see the newest branches on our family tree. Each one has something a little gift you gave.

Just another memory that we will always save. We decorate our family tree with new and old of your memory. We love you, Your Family How can I donate my organs to someone who can use them? It is impossible to protect children from the pain of loosing someone they loved. Trying to hide the death from them will only delay their inevitable realization that the person is no longer a part of the child's life.

It is better to include children in the mourning experience and teach them a healthy way to deal with their feelings. Information courtesy of www.NJSFDA.org www.NJSFDA.org.
