Join the Supply Chain Demand team! As a Lead Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for playing a key role interacting with cross-functional enterprise teams and business partners to analyze requirements and drive product features to meet the needs of our business.
The most suitable candidate for this position will have a business background with strong analytical, planning, problem solving, writing and presentation skills and one who can communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors and business unit customers.
 Responsibilities:  
- Work closely with management on project planning and resource allocation
- Lead a team on complex efforts across all aspects of the SDLC.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment on all various initiatives
- Maintain a consistently large and often dynamic workload.
- Demonstrate expert level communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Communicate effectively with team members, other technology resources, business areas, and upper management.
- Serve as an application expert on assigned application(s)
- Document current and proposed business processes and/or business rules
- Partner with business and technical teams to clearly define scope for enhancements and problems to be solved.
- Recognize and examine risks and issues, take appropriate corrective actions, define mitigations.
- Ensuring adherence to processes that enable project delivery, such as system access, information protection, hardware/software procurement, and vendor engagements.
- Provide leadership and work prioritization for projects monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years business experience in systems analysis
- 5+ years business experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.
- 5+ years business experience analyzing problems and translating into solutions.
- 5+ business experience working with enterprise database management system (e.g., SQL server, Oracle)
- Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities.
- Experience in identifying and supporting process improvements.
- Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing Azure DevOps
- Experience promoting collaboration and teamwork, leading by example, and contributing to the productivity and morale of the team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 9+ years business experience in systems analysis
- 9+ years business experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.
- 9+ years of experience leading implementation solutions, relieving bottlenecks via requirements hardening, and timeline management.
- Experience with Power BI visuals
- Expert knowledge and experience working with Supply Chain forecasting concepts, terminology, and systems.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure, related systems client/server, workstations, and servers (retail focused)
- Experience performing data analysis by creating and executing queries, interpreting results, and communicating finding to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience and knowledge of project and problem management, change management, and other systems development processes.
- Demonstrated multi-tasking and time management skills to manage workload, to drive the work of others, and to adhere to deadlines and high quality.

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
