RELOVED ISSUE 54

I love writing interiors articles for Reloved magazine and this month’s feature was a gorgeous 11-page spread on designer Rachael Taylor and her colourful home. Looking through the photos of her home inspired me to be more creative with colour and pattern in my own home, and I was excited to share her tips with the readers of Reloved. For more info check out www.RachaelTaylorDesigns.co.uk and budding designers can find details of her online design school at MakeItInDesign.comMy recipe is in the Camping Cookbook + more features this month | My Thrifty Life by Cassie Fairy (2)I also shared two step-by-step projects in Issue 54 of Reloved, including my topical print chair makeover and my garden party bar cart upcycling project. See if you can find a copy of the magazine in your local WH Smith, Tesco or Sainsburys or check out the digital edition on the Reloved website. My recipe is in the Camping Cookbook + more features this month | My Thrifty Life by Cassie Fairy (3)

FRIENDSHIP INTERVIEW

I was so honoured when UK Blog Award winner Gemma from HowToMakeFriends.co.uk asked me to be the first interviewee for a new ‘Friendship Interviews’feature on her blog. The questions she asked me were so insightful and the resulting interview is a girly chat about all things friendship, including how friendships change over the years and making new friends. Gemma is not only an award-winning writer, she’s also a very talented photographer and managed to get photos of me that I actually like.Oh, and she’s the loveliest lady you’d ever hope to meet! You can read my friendship interview here and be sure to sign up to the HTMF community while you’re there. My recipe is in the Camping Cookbook + more features this month | My Thrifty Life by Cassie Fairy (4)

CAMPING COOKBOOK

Great news, my one-pot risotto recipe has been featured in the GO Outdoors camping cookbook. I was so excited when I heard the news that my low-cost recipe had make it into this handy e-book!

NEWSPAPER ARTICLES

This month I’ve had an article published in the paper too! I wrote about a new makers market in Suffolk and it was published in the East Anglian Daily Times and in Coastal Scene too! I love seeing my writing “in print” and it’s especially exciting when my family spots something I’ve written in the local newspaper! My recipe is in the Camping Cookbook + more features this month | My Thrifty Life by Cassie Fairy (7)

I was surprised and chuffed when the latest Waltons e-newsletter landed in my inbox and one of my blog posts had been featured! My Lego play table project had been shared as one of the recommended blog posts in the newsletter so I hope that some of Waltons lovely subscribers will have hopped onto my blog as a result of this unexpected coverage! 🙂My recipe is in the Camping Cookbook + more features this month | My Thrifty Life by Cassie Fairy (8)
