Some programmer got too happy with the software code and messed something up for the new year I guess.

There is one "update" sticker on the little aluminum module box under the hood and the numbers don't seem to match any here. I have not heard from the dealer. Are there any production dates given for this recall? Guess I'll carry my jumper cables, huh? _________________

The dealer said someone probably left the lights on when they drove it out to the lot. Of course the lights turn off on their own don't they. _________________ '06 CRD Limited, Lt. Why am I not assured by that statement? Go to the Owner site on jeep.com and punch in the last 8 of your VIN. It'll say if you are due any recalls. Mine shows the new Body Module recall.

Mine (I assume) had to be jumped by two dealers, dealer one that had the truck and the second dealer where I picked it up at. I was pissed because they should have caught this recall before they sent the jeep out! I will give credit to the dealership as they came to get the jeep (hour away) and gave me a rental for two days and a full tank of fuel. _________________

Sunday dead battery again, Monday rental from the dealer and Tuesday a new battery. Jeep is back and I hope all is well, we will see this weekend when it sits. _________________
