I'll just take the gold crate and call it good, you can get the gold crate for most GC without having to do the faction feat and you still get 2 omnis for the reward. I'm never applying his omni. I like TW and GAC omnis.

They should just make PvP and PvE omnis. An omni that could be used in TB, Conquest and maybe raids, well now even GC since they're adding that now. I have 1 TB omni and 1 Raid omni. The rest are TW and GAC.

I’ll be honest. I didn’t read the kit at all. The moment I saw a GC omicron I lost interest completely. Talk about tone deaf…

Until they move Omicrons to only the ultimate box. "Not enough people are investing in the Gungan omicron."

Here’s an idea. Just combine utility for Challenges, Conquest, and TB into being omicrons for PVE.

I'm of two minds on this topic. Part of me reads this as basically this character was released without an omicron, as I will never apply it. But the other side is why release something like this at all?

Is CG doing us a favor by creating a character with an omicron knowing that very few will apply? Or do they honestly think we will place a very limited resource on something that has very limited use? Maybe if it was 5 omicrons...

I’m interested how GC will be changed after this.

I’m curious what the reasoning was here? We didn’t like conquest omicrons so you make an omicron that will give us even less rewards than the conquest ones? Genuinely curious what the purpose is if it isn’t to make gc’s harder so we’ll have to get it. It’s truly disheartening to see such a tone deaf decision directly after having us tell you why we didn’t like conquest crons and how you could make them better. Really comes off as purposeful ignorance because everyone knows that not one person requested this. What was the reason for asking us? Did you just not like what we had to say? Huge question marks from this decision.

    GC omicron

Sucks that there will be a bunch of GC's set up that require it so we all lose out on Omicrons, lets hope that it is less than 10 so overall it isn't a loss.

something i just thought of... you shouldnt need an omicron to earn more omicrons, which is what this sounds like. if the challenges become hard to get without having an omi, its a true fail then

I see a lot of people trying to connect the Conquest omicron survey to this GC omicron. The idea that what was said in that survey has any bearing on their decision to release a GC omicron is perplexing to me.

That being said, a GC omicron doesn't make sense for all the same reasons that a Conquest omicron doesn't make sense. In addition to all those reasons, in this case you're spending omicron mats to get more omicron mats - but only under the circ*mstances that you weren't getting them anyway - and only under the circ*mstances that some of the benefit gained here aligns with any given set of GC feats.

It's not useful to smaller accounts as they won't be prioritizing Gungans for quite a while - and even after they've been accelerated, unless they're just a stupidly powerful meta-shifting team, it doesn't make sense for a smaller account to farm them ahead of more important and more foundational core teams.

So either there's a missing part of the picture that drastically changes the math involved - or this is another omicron sink for people that don't fully understand the impact of their omicron choices (Inquisitor leadership omicrons, anyone?).

I don't know which is worse. With what we know right now, it's an easy skip.

F2P since the last time I bought Kyros, Crystals, or the Conquest Pass.

These gungans will end up being useless like jawas, Ewoks, tuskens….

Feature Request #11: Remove an applied zeta or omicron and recover 50% of the materials used.

It'll never be implemented, but it would sure make these "limited time" abilities more palatable. Gungan GCs will be common for a few months and then fade away again, and this omicron will be useless at that point. Just like raid omicrons when their raid is replaced, or Conquest omicrons when the faction/toon isn't needed anymore, or TB omicrons when the guild moves on to a "higher level" TB.

Would also help with meta shifts as well. Phasma omicron, for example. Zetas aren't as tough to get as omicrons, but we all have zetas we regret and wish we could take back.

Can't wait for the new gc feat "win a battle with an active omicron on the team".

I am okay with a GC omicron, I enjoy a wide array of omicron options. No one is forcing me to use one here…but if my opponents want to instead of throwing another against me in GAC, I won’t complain.

Super easy fix for this. Add a new material holocron or whatever they want to call it. This new material is only for PVE and omicorns are only for PVP (GAC and TW). All the existing PVE Omicorns are converted to the new material. This new material is accessible in a different game mode. So we can focus on PVE content separately.

This was a poor decision. A GC Omicron is unwanted, unneeded and I predict the only ones who *may* apply it are content creators to warn everyone not to do it. Shame on anyone who green lit this.

This omicron will be very helpful on fleet GC’s.

So is the current marquee structure here to stay, or was that just for the release of the Gungans?
