Guerdy Abrairaadmits she andLarsa Pippenare not — nor have ever been — “best friends." But that doesn’t mean they’re enemies.
The Real Housewives of Miamimom made the claim during a recent appearance onthe Viall Files podcast,revealing where she and Larsa stand after their intensefalloutin Season 6. Guerdy confessed she didn't know what the future had in store but was optimistic about her relationship with Larsa,as they've remainedon“decent” terms since the Season 6 reunion.
“We were friends,” she said in the April 18 episode. “We’ll see. The future looks bright. We hugged it out at the reunion. Today, we’re decent. There’s no bad blood at all.”

Guerdy and Larsa's feud escalated in Season 6, Episode 3, in which the former revealed herbreast cancer diagnosis. Guerdy shared the information during a one-on-one sitdown with Larsa, who agreed to keep the diagnosis under wraps. But just six hours after the emotional conversation, Larsa began informing her friends about Guerdy's health issues.

Although Guerdy had already shared her diagnosis withAdriana De Moura,Julia Lemigova, andNicole Martin, she said she chose to inform Larsa as part of a“test.”
“The only person that I knew would sing like a canary would be someone like Larsa. OK?” she said during the November 15, 2023, episode. “I tested someone because I knew they couldn’t keep their mouth shut… I was testing someone, and the person failed bigly."

During herViall Filesappearance, Guerdy insisted she and Larsa were “trying to start fresh," but she wanted her castmate to prove her loyalty not through her words, but through her actions.
“I’m a lover, not a fighter,” she said. “We can’t take back what happened. It’s all out there. It is what it is. And what I told her at the reunion was, ‘My journey was hard already and you made it harder.’ And I meant it…Not everyone is gonna be your best friend and you have to realize that…We were friends and friendly, not so much best friends.”

“Love is love, no matter how you look at it,” she said about the romance. “If you look at it from that perspective, I don’t care what the relationship kinks are. If they really love each other, they’re gonna be together and you gotta respect that… You should see them together. I definitely think that they have love for each other. I support love.”

Guerdy announced her breast cancer diagnosis in a March 2023 Instagram post and chose to document her journey on social media. The renowned event planner provided regular health updates on Instagram and spoke candidly about the physical and emotional toll of chemotherapy. But despite her struggles, Guerdy remained resilient and optimistic throughout the battle and confirmed she was cancer-free in November 2023.

“There were a lot of lonely, dark times in that bed during the chemo, for sure,” she told podcast host Nick. “But I learned to really appreciate myself and the people around me, and I learned to trim by tribe, by the way. Your tribe is your vibe. So I realized a lot of sh*t was not serving me and you gotta release what no longer serves you. So that’s what I did and I’m really selfish now… Learn how to say no. Thank you, but no thank you.”
