shift. so something we all need to take advice and advice on not barbecuing or if you do, being very careful this weekend because the fire danger increases as the winds shift from a westerly to a northerly component as soon as late tomorrow. so we've got the sea breeze again today, starting out with the clouds, the golden gate bridge down through half moon bay. but you can already see partly sunny conditions there at the airport. and those winds by the afternoon in the 20 to 30 mile an hour range from the coastline. it's 54, in san jose, 52 san francisco, and from pier 39. camera you can see it is a lazy start there for a friday for all the sea lions, but a lot of sunshine all the way across the bay, even at the coast today. but as those winds kick up, they're really going to get quite gusty from point reyes over 40 miles an hour. half moon bay, montara, pacifica over 25. and then as you get inland, yeah, you'll have that sea breeze all the way into the livermore valley right now, 25 mile an hour winds out through concord, low 80s today. so that's a nice warm up in and around average. the south bay,

6:19 am

the peninsula from the mid 70s from los altos, upper 70s, redwood city a nice afternoon for you san francisco. it's in the upper 60s. one of the warmer days will be today as you get those stronger winds into the second half of the weekend. santa rosa could see temperatures top out near 90 today, and as we get into the next couple of days, it will be all about the winds where they're coming out of and how dry we get. and the cooler winds today reaching reaching over towards the east bay with 73. in san leandro heading inland, the fair today. low 80s in pleasanton, mid 80s. if you head out towards concord. so in and around average for most of us, those winds will get quite gusty as we get into late saturday and sunday with elevated fire danger winds out of the north up to 40 and 50 miles an hour, but as we get through the middle of next week, it looks like we're going to get into a much warmer weather. with 90s arriving inland. that's way out in the extended outlook, but for right now, you can plan on a sunny and slightly warmer day out there.
